DR4050 Setup Instructions.

1. Remove any previously installed applications.
2. Download the software.
3. Don’t connect the DR4050 to either the power supply or PC.
4. Find your download file.
5. Open digileds_config_setup folder.
6. Right-click on “setup” and then “Run as administrator.”
7. It will end with an error.
8. Repeat the above except this time un-check the install drivers box.
9. It will complete successful this time.
10. You should now have the program installed on your desktop.
11.Plugin ONLY the USB cable to the DR4050 and PC.
12.When you see the driver is installed click on the box for more info.
13. Make note of what port the driver gets installed on.
14. Run the DigiLED Config program.
15. Select the com port.
16. Then plug in the power to the DR4050.
17. Slide one of the sliders and you should see the change in the LEDs.

If the above fails and depending on what version of Windows you are running you may need to do the following:

1. Remove any previously installed applications.
2. Right, Click on “setup” then click on “Troubleshoot compatibility.”
3. Select the previous version of Windows.
4. Run as Vista.
5. Install only me.
6. Do check the driver's box.
7. It will end with an error.
8. Click the “Run Program.”
9. This time un-check install drivers box.
10. It will install correctly this time.
11. Close the Compatibility Program.
12.The plugin only the USB cable to the DR4050 and PC.
13.When you see the drive being installed click on the box for more info.
14. Make note of what com port the driver gets installed on.
15. Run the DigiLED Config program.
16. Select the com port.
17. Then plug in the power to the DR4050.
18. Slide one of the sliders and you should see the change in the LEDs.
19. You may also try running the DigiLED Config. program by right-clicking and the Run as administrator.
